Leon is a passionate and dedicated industry professional, with nineteen years of vast experience in the areas of insurance and wealth planning. He proudly holds the Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter, and Financial Management Advisor designations and most recently completed all of the courses required to hold the designation of Chartered Investment Manager.
Leon began his career as a Financial Advisor at Freedom 55 Financial and was swiftly promoted to the management ranks as Director of Business Development where he led a team of new and established advisors in areas of financial planning for business owners and individuals.
Leon moved on as Marketing Director at one of the largest and most successful MGA’s where his primary focus was in working with advisors on product selection and advanced planning solutions for business owners and high net worth individuals.
Before coming to Sun Life Leon held the title of Advanced Case Consultant at Canada Life where he partnered with high performing Advisors to help grow engagement and deliver value for their clients.
When not working, Leon loves travelling with his wife Lulu and spending time with his three step-daughter’s. He is an avid reader, passionate about music and performs at a local Toronto bar.
